Program and Services:

The Office of Early provides the following programs and/or services:

  • Head Start Prekindergarten is available to families with three and four year old children whose families meet the low income eligibility requirements of the Federal Head Start program.
  • Bright Futures Prekindergarten is available to families with three and four year olds who meet the Income eligibility requirements set by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • The ELECT program is a comprehensive, school-based, community-linked program that provides academic and social service supports to expectant and parenting students and their children, enrolled in schools distributed throughout the city of Philadelphia.
  • Support with kindergarten registration.
