What is an Evacuation?

An evacuation is a safety procedure that is enacted when there is a fire; explosion; gas leak; and/or other internal, life-threatening emergency that requires that the occupants of the building to immediately leave.  During an evacuation, students and staff will evacuate to the predetermined rally point and/or evacuation site. Parents will be notified via telephone calls to numbers listed on the student’s record.
