What is the ELECT Program?

Philadelphia’s ELECT program is a partnership between the School District of Philadelphia and Communities In Schools of Philadelphia, Jewish Family and Children Services, and Congreso that provides a comprehensive offering of social and academic services to pregnant and parenting teens throughout the City. The program enables schools to help pregnant and parenting teens to earn a diploma or GED certificate, become better parents, achieve self-sufficiency, and make the transition to employment or higher education.
